A.C.E. Pest Control is a trading name of JG Environmental Limited, which is the company responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We collect it only where you give it to us, for example when you complete an enquiry form or telephone us about a pest problem, and we use it to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any work you ask us to do.

What we collect

Your name, telephone number, email address, the address where the work is needed, and whatever you tell us about the problem itself, including anything you type into the web chat.

Web chat and our automated assistant

The web chat on this site is answered by an automated assistant working on our behalf, at any time of day. It runs on the chat system we use across our group of companies. What you type is used to answer your question, give you a price and arrange a visit, and the conversation is kept with your enquiry in our customer records. If you would rather speak to a person, call us.

We use automated and AI-assisted tools to help us handle enquiries. They may process what you send through the website form, the web chat and telephone calls, so that we can reply quickly and pass your enquiry to the right person. Anything processed this way may be handled by AI providers acting on our instructions and under contract, and it is not used to target you with advertising.

How we use it

To reply to you, to arrange and carry out treatment, and to keep the service records that pest control work requires. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing. An enquiry sent through this website is delivered to us by an email delivery provider acting on our behalf, which handles the message only to deliver it.

Telephone calls to us may be recorded, and a call may be answered by the same automated assistant, which transcribes it. We keep recordings and transcripts to confirm what was agreed when a booking was made and to help resolve any problem or complaint, which is in our legitimate interest and yours.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and treatment records for as long as we need them for the work and for our own legal and insurance obligations, and no longer.

Cookies and storage on your device

This website sets no cookies of its own. It does not use advertising cookies and it does not track you across other websites.

The web chat keeps two small notes in your browser for the length of your visit: whether its invitation has already been shown, and whether you closed a notice. They exist so the chat does not keep interrupting you, and your browser deletes them when you close the tab. The chat window itself loads from our group's chat service, which may store what it needs to keep your conversation open while you move between pages.

If you arrive by clicking one of our adverts, your browser keeps the reference the search engine adds to the web address, along with the page you landed on, the site you came from and the time, for the length of your visit. None of it reaches us unless you choose to send an enquiry, in which case it is attached so we can tell which advert brought you to us. Your browser discards it when you close the tab.
